Beck Builders helped design our home from a floor plan that I brought in. Add to that a bonus room above the garage and the fact that we wanted a low maintenance, metal exterior; it was a challenge. Paul had to do some redesigning so the garage/bonus room didn't overpower the rest of our home. It turned out perfectly and no one else would know it wasn't originally designed this way.
All of your staff is wonderful, friendly and answered all of our questions. They are priceless! All of you made a difficult process a bit easier and less stressful.
I especially want to thank Dave for SO MANY things he did during the build. There were several issues related to the pandemic and not being able to get what was needed on time. A few things couldn't be sourced anywhere. His expertise, concern that things were built or done correctly, giving us options when decisions needed to be made, and keeping us informed during the whole process was awesome! He wanted us to be happy with what was being done along the way. We can't thank him enough!

We needed to update and remodel our 25 year old house and decided to hire a professional. Found Beck Builders and couldn't be happier. We realize remodels can be challenging because of inherent quirks that come with an existing structure.

We had a great experience working with Beck Builders. From the moment we met Paul and his “dream team” we were impressed with the professionalism, honesty and integrity of each team member. Our project manager listened to our suggestions and desires, and he put together a team of sub-contractors that were all excellent in their field of expertise. We were on the building site almost every day, and were fortunate to get to know each one of the craftsmen and women. Everyone was courteous, patient in answering questions, respectful, and genuinely nice.
Every person in the Beck Builders team was great to work with: from the receptionist, to the plan designers, to the bookkeeper, the project manager, and even to the crew who made sure the construction site was kept clean. Paul has put together a superior team. We are pleased to be part of the “Beck Family”. And when it was all finished, we had a wonderful dream home, finished on time and on budget!

When we decided to retire to the Hamilton/Corvallis area, our next step was to choose a builder. The difficulty of this decision was compounded by the fact that we were still living in Alaska at the time. I researched many builders and finally narrowed the list down to four that I wanted to interview. Paul Beck was the second contractor that I met and I didn’t look any further. I immediately felt a connection with him even after only talking about 15 minutes. He was warm, caring, attentive to our needs (which were many), and genuinely interested in what we were trying to achieve. Our initial discussion with him lasted over three hours. As were were walking out to leave, I turned to my wife and said that we had just found our builder. She enthusiastically agreed!
I called Paul the next day and asked him if he would build our home and he said yes. It was off to the races after that and we never looked back. We had brought Paul a concept design of a house that we wanted to build, and with the exception of a few small changes that is exactly the house that was built. It is worth mentioning that after our initial discussion all our subsequent talks were from long distance. This was no small feat, especially given that we were going over dozens & dozens of details each time. There wasn’t a single time that I was left with any doubts or wondering what was going on.
In the end, Paul and his whole team, including the superb subcontractors, turned our dream into a reality and exceeded all of our expectations and more. The quality of work is second to none and we are still amazed at all of the elegant finishing touches. My wife and I have shared a common dream for many years. It took until our retirements, but we were finally able to have our dream home built in Montana. We purchased our land in August 2000, near Hamilton. Over the years that followed we attended several new home shows and talked to many builders specializing in traditional frame, as well as log and timber frame homes. Based on our observations, photos, notes and conversations with various high quality craftsmen, we felt one clearly stood out. Beck homes had a “Montana” look that most clearly matched our preferences and tastes. The generous amounts of wood trim, stone work, and wood beams complimented each area throughout. This was further enhanced by the attention to detail. Fit and finish were perfect (I really did study that part).
The Beck team is outstanding! They have addressed every single request and question to our satisfaction. We have been out of state for much of the construction; but our project manager has always kept in regular contact by phone and email. We know if we have an issue he will take care of it. We have been very impressed with all of the sub-contractors. They have been conscientious, professional and respectful. We have an 1880's farmhouse. A few years ago we hired Beck Builders to remodel our kitchen and dining room and add a downstairs bedroom, office and more living space. We didn't make our choice lightly. It takes a discerning eye, super craftsmanship and careful attention to detail to integrate the old and the new in a place like this. I wanted everything to function as shiny and new, while maintaining the look and patina of the Country Victorian era.
I couldn't be happier with the results. Not only did the project turn out exactly as I envisioned - and better - the experience was pretty darn painless. You'd expect your life to be in turmoil with such a major remodel, but Paul and Tony and the crew kept chaos to a minimum and smiles on our faces. I think they specialize in finding the absolute best suppliers and subcontractors. Not only did it come out perfect, the job was finished on budget and on time.
